This AI can solve mathematical problems, which have been determined to be a signifier of significant intelligence.
The design of OpenAI with the non-profit structure was designed to act as a circuit breaker to protect humanity in case profit became the motivation or leadership became misguided.
If this report is correct, then the circuit breaker failed and greed won out.
